Norfolk Young Professionals Group Committee Members

I joined the YPG in September 2007 and became a member of the committee shortly after. Along with Giles I organised the 2008 masquerade ball which was a lot of fun. I have attended many YPG events and really enjoy meeting new people. I like being part of the YPG as it provides an informal forum for like minded people to meet and get to know other professionals within the local area.

I work at Howes Percival LLP as a solicitor within the Property Finance team. As part of this I work with many banks dealing with all aspects of property security and finance. I also deal with commercial property work including a variety of work for landlord and tenant clients and also dealing with sale and purchase transactions.

I have been a YPG Member since 2003 and a YPG Committee Member since 2006 during which time I have attended and hosted many enjoyable events which include three Spring Balls, Newmarket Races, wine tasting and numerous Thursday night drinks evenings. I have made many good friends along the way and established some very worthwhile business contacts through networking at the various events.

I work in the commercial property department within Bidwells and act for both landlords and tenants in rent reviews and lease renewals throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. My clients include pension funds, property companies, government departments, national tenants and private individuals. Prior to this I worked in the commercial agency, valuation and property management departments.

I joined the YPG in 2007 and recently 'volunteered' to become a member of the committee with Giles and Karen. I am looking forward to helping organise the summer party in June. I enjoy the more informal approach to networking and meeting like-minded people from many different firms in and around Norwich.

I have recently joined the tax department of M + A Partners based in The Close in Norwich, having previously worked for another local firm for over seven years. My work involves the preparation of both personal and corporate tax returns, as well as more specialised tax planning including capital gains and inheritance tax, meeting clients & other professionals and generally attending to the tax affairs of a varied portfolio of clients.
