About Norfolk Young Professionals Group

Norfolk Young Professionals Group is a networking society set up to give young professionals the opportunity to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere. It's all very informal, there is no dress code (although most attendees come straight from work) and people can stay for one or two drinks, or the whole evening! Basically we see where the night takes us!

NYPG meet on the last Thursday every month for 'monthly drinks' from 6.00 pm. We try and vary the venue by picking a different bar or pub in Norwich City Centre to keep it interesting! Past venues include the Lawyer, Orgasmic, Indulge, Delaneys, Norwich Playhouse, Ribs of Beef and many more!

NYPG also hold several larger events throughout the year, the largest being the NYPG Ball held in Spring. We also arrange other events such as trips to Newmarket Races, Yarmouth Dogs, wine tasting evenings, brewery tours, bowling and a Christmas party/pub crawl.

What are professionals? There is no strict definition but broadly speaking we target those who have been qualified in their respective fields for under five years. The majority of attendees are solicitors, surveyors, accountants, HR, marketing, media, PR, finance etc but we will always welcome other professions.

What is young? Traditionally the YPG was set up for 18-35 year olds but if you feel 'young at heart' we won't turn you away if you're older!

Therefore if you would like to join we ask you fill in the membership form. Once we have entered you into our mailing list you will receive e-mails informing you of events but would encourage you to check out the website from time to time.
